She Who Blooms In Autumn

By: Mia Palencia

She’s like a flower
blooming in the
morning; a dandelion
in the field of red,
red roses, and a daffodil
in the vast land of wildflowers.

Yes, she is;
that yellow hibiscus
that I always adore,
and that beautiful
lily of the valley
in the green, green meadow.

She’s a lily, indeed!
A lily in the water,
or a lily in the mud;
still, she’s gorgeous,
indifferent!

She bloom in spring days
where flowers are born;
and bloom in a crazy
winter season,
and raining hard snows.

She blooms in a hot
summer month;
and bloom even in times of fall.
She never wither and fade
at once, but maybe, deep inside.

She who blooms in autumn;
she, is the woman
I dearly love. The woman
that I adore so much.
She, who walks by faith
and by the grace of GOD.
